Whether you’re an interior designer bringing a fully fleshed out design that’s in need of fabrication, or a new homeowner with an empty room and some ideas, we will work with you to realize your project. Typically, projects start with a conversation about piece or pieces you need, and your ideal timeline. This conversation will help determine if the cost will align with your budget, and if we should move forward to the design phase. Designs will be in the form of 3-D renderings and measured drawings, which insure that you will know exactly what you are getting. Material samples will be provided for consideration for every piece, with the appropriate finishes.
A 50% deposit is required to begin work, with the balance due upon delivery. Lead times vary depending on the scope of the project of course, but 8-12 weeks is typical. We will always try our best to work with you to meet your date-of-delivery needs, but not at the expense of sacrificing the quality of the work. We guarantee our work unconditionally against failure due to workmanship or materials, so there are no shortcuts made just to meet a deadline. Any damages caused by misuse or abnormal environmental conditions are excluded.
During a stint in the art department of a tabletop film studio in NYC, I discovered a material that worked and looked exactly like plaster, but is actually a two part water-based resin. Being both beautiful and incredibly strong, it is uniquely suited for use in fine furniture. Often used in outdoor sculpture, including water features, it can be cleaned in the same manner as wood without fear of damage or erosion. Like any natural material, it will acquire a patina with time and use that add to the beauty in the same manner as brass, bronze, or zinc. It is almost infinitely repairable, far more so than wood, and carries the same warranty as all my furniture, guaranteed for the life of the original owner.
